I’m Susan O’Dell, PhD, a licensed clinical social worker with a private psychotherapy and life coaching practice in Portland, Oregon. I encourage you to explore my website to learn about me and the services I provide.

I work with individuals, couples, and families of many cultural, ethnic, religious, gender and sexual orientations. Our discussions focus on life concerns such as identity, addiction, trauma and violence, relationships and personal change.

I believe the transforming power of psychotherapy and coaching begins with a vital connection between you and me. Our conversations create a safe and nurturing space for you to grow in the confidence of your worth, your aspirations, and your life circumstances. From this awareness comes a deeper knowing of yourself and a more effective “hands on” capacity for dealing thoughtfully and constructively with the challenges of living.

I’m currently not seeing clients in-person. Rather, I’m using Zoom and Doxy.me which is a HIPPA compliant, easy to use, video platform.
